Calybite ("Calybite," "we," "our," or "us") is a nutrition and wellness application that helps users log meals, estimate calories and macronutrients, track water intake and weight goals, connect supported health data, and access AI-powered nutrition features.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Calybite may collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Important: Calybite is intended for general nutrition, fitness, and wellness purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.

Food and Meal Information

When you use meal logging or food scanning features, we may process:

• Corrections or edits you make to food-scan results

AI-generated nutrition estimates may not always be accurate. You should review food-scan results before relying on them.

AI Coach and Personalization Data

If you use Calybite's AI features, we may process information you provide to the AI coach, along with relevant information from your Calybite account, to provide personalized responses and meal suggestions.

This may include:

• AI chat messages
• Food history
• Nutrition goals
• Dietary preferences
• Likes and dislikes
• Relevant usage patterns

Calybite may use this information to personalize your individual experience. We do not sell your personal information.

We will not represent account-level personalization as training a general-purpose AI model unless that is actually how the service operates and appropriate disclosures and permissions have been provided.

Apple Health and Health Connect Data

If you choose to connect Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android, Calybite may request access to supported health and fitness information needed for features you enable.

Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include information such as:

• Steps
• Workouts
• Active energy
• Weight
• Other supported health or fitness information used by Calybite

Access is optional and subject to the permissions you approve on your device.

**Calybite does not use health data obtained through Apple Health or Health Connect for advertising, marketing, or sale to data brokers.**

You can change or revoke health-data permissions through your device settings at any time.

Device and Usage Information

We may collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Calybite, such as:

• Feature interactions and app performance

Where required, analytics and similar technologies will be disclosed through applicable platform privacy disclosures and consent mechanisms.

Purchase Information

Paid features may be offered through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases.

Apple or Google processes your payment information. Calybite may receive information such as your subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifier, and entitlement status. We do not receive your full payment-card details from the app stores.

• Create and manage your account
• Log meals, calories, macros, water, and progress
• Calculate and display personalized nutrition targets
• Analyze meal photos when you request an AI food scan
• Provide AI-powered coaching and meal suggestions

• Synchronize features you authorize with Apple Health or Health Connect
• Process and verify subscriptions

• Diagnose crashes and technical problems
• Improve app reliability, usability, and features

We do not sell personal health information.

3. AI Processing

Some Calybite features use artificial intelligence to analyze meals, estimate nutrition information, provide conversational assistance, or suggest meals.

Information required to perform an AI request may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf. We seek to limit information sent to service providers to what is reasonably necessary for the requested feature.

AI responses and food estimates can be inaccurate or incomplete. Calybite's AI features are intended for general wellness and informational purposes and should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

We may use third-party providers for services such as:

• Cloud hosting and databases
• Authentication
• AI processing
• App analytics
• Crash reporting

• Subscription and entitlement management

These providers may process information on our behalf subject to their contractual obligations and applicable law.

Apple and Google

Information may be exchanged with Apple or Google when necessary for:

5. Advertising

Calybite does not use information obtained through Apple Health or Health Connect for targeted advertising.

If Calybite introduces advertising or advertising-related technologies in the future, this Privacy Policy and applicable platform privacy disclosures will be updated as required before those practices are introduced.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

If Calybite allows account creation, you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data using the account-deletion option provided in the app.

We may retain limited information where required by law, for security purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate obligations.

Calybite is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable local law, unless the service is specifically configured and legally permitted for that audience.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
