Delete my account

You can permanently delete your Calybite account and the data stored with it. Here is exactly how, and exactly what happens.
From inside the app
The fastest route, and the one we recommend:
- Open Calybite and go to Profile.
- Tap Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
To be confirmed against the shipping app: the exact menu path above. Store reviewers follow these steps literally.
If you cannot open the app
Use the contact form, choose the “Support” topic, and write “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address on your account so we can verify the request. We will confirm once the deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials.
- Your profile, goals and calculated targets.
- Every meal log, scanned photo, water entry and weight entry.
- Your chat history with Caramel.
- Any health and activity data synced from Apple Health or Google Fit.
Deletion is permanent. There is no undo, and we cannot restore a deleted account, so export anything you want to keep first.
What may be retained, and for how long
- Encrypted backups, until they age out of our normal backup rotation.
- Records we are legally required to keep, such as purchase and tax records for subscriptions.
- Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
To be confirmed with engineering before launch: the actual deletion completion window and the backup rotation period, stated in days.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in the store you purchased from, otherwise billing continues.
